Born in
Liverpool, UK, Ann found that she could communicate with the
spirit world as a young child, but was labelled “evil” by her local priest. She
turned away from spirituality and, instead, become a qualified Art teacher and
practising artist.
Everything changed when she was told by a
respected medium that, indeed, she was a ‘spirit artist’, able to combine her
natural talents in providing evidence of an afterlife. She then trained as a
medium under the tutelage of the great Glyn Edwards, Gordon Higginson and Coral
Polge, who acknowledged Ann as her successor.
It has been Ann's life's work to research and bring this unique and enigmatic canon of art to the world's eyes.

A I Kaymen
There is much talk about Indigo, star or rainbow children, supposedly born with unique spiritual gifts and 'higher consciousness'... Well, meet a real one! Aura Child tells the astonishing story of a girl growing up in a normal London family, able to see the energy fields of all living things and to read others' thoughts, and even to slip through time and converse with the spirits who had lived in the neighbourhood... but unable to share this with anyone else. Everyone called her a freak. A beautifully written debut book, full of humour.
A I Kaymen was born and raised in north London. She has degrees in Political Science and in Diplomacy, has travelled extensively and has worked as a statistician and analyst. She is also an amateur athlete and an artist.
Catherine Lowry
Catherine is a registered nurse with more than four decades' experience in the UK and the USA. Having learned a great deal about holistic nutrition and healthy food preparation, she then returned to her native Ireland and began a search for evidence of people who had survived their ‘incurable disease’ through adopting a better diet and lifestyle. She presents her case in straightforward language, arguing for a radically new approach to health.
She now works as a spiritual medium and artist, and her website is www.catherinelowry.ie

Chris Guyon
Born in Essex, the eldest of four children, Chris left school at fifteen and worked in health services for many years until the demand for her healing gifts became so great that she opened her own practice. From the age of six she had been aware of angel voices and their presence became ever more vivid as she grew up.
These extraordinary experiences are fully described in Extraordinary Things Happen to Ordinary People, her first book. Chris has two adult children and is an independent funeral celebrant.

The Angels Beside Us
Glynis Amy Allen
Glynis is a psychic and spiritual medium, inheriting her abilities from her Grandma Mac, the local Wise Woman. From childhood she could read people's auras, see and hear spirits - and read tea leaves! She then spent most of her working life in the NHS, rising to become a Senior Nurse (with a B.Sci.Med degree) mostly in A&E wards and in the community. Every day she would interact with the souls of the dying and their relatives come to help them pass over, as well as with spirit doctors... not to mention the Grey Lady and other resident hospital ghosts! Having retired, she now gives personal spiritual readings and makes dolls, decorated with healing crystals and accompanied by psychic insights.
Ghosts of the NHS was her debut book, available in paperback and as an eBook, a #1 bestseller online! She has followed up with The Angels Beside Us, describing her encounters with beautiful and compassionate angelic beings -
winner of the Local Legend Spiritual Writing Competition in 2020.

The Spirit of the Hedgerow
Jo Dunbar
WINNER OF THE LOCAL LEGEND SPIRITUAL WRITING COMPETITION
Jo has been practising as a medical herbalist since 1999 and is the founder of Botanica Medica Herbal Apothecary. It was through growing and collecting the herbs for her apothecaries that she developed a personal relationship with hedgerow plants and trees. This love of nature led her also to follow the Druidic path, honouring all lifeforms on Earth as well as the cycles of the year.
Jo grew up in South Africa where she first studied horticulture and worked with Xhosa men who taught her about indigenous plants and how they are used magically and medically. She now lives in Hampshire, England, and is the author of How to Cope Successfully with Candida (Wellhouse Publishing Ltd, 2003) and the self-published Recovering from Stress, Burn Out and Fatigue.

Joanne Gregory
Joanne Gregory is an internationally acclaimed clairaudient medium with a world-wide celebrity contact list. Growing up in Sheffield, at first she ignored her evident psychic abilities, fearful of standing out from others. Even later, despite witnessing miracles daily, her life was difficult and she only seemed to attract people who were harmful to her. But then she began to learn the difference between the psychic and the spiritual, and her life turned round.
“My journey to date,” she says, “has been nothing short of amazing and I can’t keep it in any more. The wonderful, abundant, joyous, love-filled life that I now lead is available to everyone.”
Joanne lives in Derbyshire, England.

Lynne Harkes
Lynne Harkes has lived in many wonderful and colourful places, from Nigeria to South America, from the Sultanate of Oman to the jungle of Gabon in West Africa. It was a life of expanded personal horizons, and Lynne describes graphically both the warmth of the native peoples and the magnificence of the landscape and animal world. But equally, the intensity of such a nomadic existence magnifies one’s personal challenges, and Lynne found herself retreating into unhappiness. The beautifully written Spinach Soup for the Walls is the story of how she rediscovered her own spirituality. In the end, she says, "It was simple: we must learn to see the beauty of nature and of our own everyday world, to recognise the remarkable in the ordinary." Lynne now works as an artist in her native Edinburgh.

Mollie Peace
Mollie Peace was a woman of her time, one of a generation that saw the most extraordinary changes. Born in poverty, she lived through the hardship of the early twentieth century, and experienced the tragedies of war. She witnessed the birth of the motor car, the atom bomb, the computer and the Internet. A loyal wife and mother, she raised a family and knew the joy of great-grandchildren. To have experienced all this was no ordinary life. But like so many other women of her time, she nurtured a private desire that was always denied her. She wanted to be a writer. That was her real identity and she was a talented poet. But there was no opportunity for her. Until now. One Pair of Shoes, a collection of poems and short stories, is both a tribute to her and an encouragement to everyone who believes in their own purpose and desires. Never give up. Your words will live on.

Peter Walker is a teacher, priest and poet. After graduating in French and Philosophy, he taught languages for many years. He has always written poetry, much influenced by both the natural world for the way it provides glimpses of the divine unity of all things, and by the ways in which human experiences are mediated by language.
Meanwhile, he
trained for the priesthood and was ordained in the Church of England, presently
serving in north Wales. Nonetheless, he loves red wine and strong coffee, the
vibrancy of the inner city and the deserted shoreline at dawn, and the music of
Muddy Waters and Vaughan Williams.
The House of Being won our national Spiritual Writing Competition in 2018, whilst A Retiring Priest charts his journey from 'there' to 'here' as he retired from the priesthood into family life.
Peter is married to
Susie, with whom he has a daughter, Louise.

Even More Days of Heaven

The Narrow Doorway
Sandy Phillips
Sandy has written and painted for as long as she can remember, and along the way has also been an actor and teacher. Seeing the spirit world has gone hand in hand with everything she has done.
She had three major ambitions in life. One was to have a piece of art work exhibited at the Royal Academy and the second was to write a book. With The Narrow Doorway she has now achieved these two.
The third ambition is to be closer to a spiritual life.

Sarah Truman
Sarah's partner Tom Bailey was a determined and enthusiastic character, a rugby player and speedway rider with his feet on the ground. But Tom also had a mystical side. In their thirteen years together before his untimely death, their lives were consumed by researching the truth of Tom's vivid dreams and psychic visions, which suggested they had lived together before - and that Sarah had murdered Tom! Sarah's writing is detailed and thoughtful, setting out the facts so that readers may judge for themselves... Have we all lived before?
Sarah is now a holistic therapist and Reiki healer and has returned to live in Lichfield, the city of her birth.
